R&B icon Charlie Wilson to perform at Thunder Valley18 July 2018(PRESS RELEASE) -- Twelve-time Grammy-nominee, P Music Group/RCA Records recording artist and R&B icon Charlie Wilson will perform at Thunder Valley Casino Resort on Friday, 20 July 2018 at 7 p.m. at the Outdoor Amphitheatre. Wilson, who was nominated for three 2018 NAACP Image Awards, was the recipient of the first “Music Makes A Difference Award” at this year’s show. He was also honored in May at the “Celebration of Legends” gala at the National Museum of African American Music. Wilson is bringing his critically-acclaimed show to the Thunder Valley Casino where he will be performing songs from his latest chart-topping album, In It To Win It that debuted No. 1 on the Billboard R&B Albums chart and No. 7 on the Billboard Top 200. The show will include Wilson’s two number one singles which hit # 1 on two difference Billboard charts in April 2018. “Chills was #1 on the Adult R&B Songs chart and “I’m Blessed” featuring T.I. was No. 1 on the Hot Gospel Songs chart. The is the first time an artist has had two different No. 1 songs on these charts at the same time. He will also be performing some of his 12 No. 1 hit singles as a solo artist together with some of the biggest hits of the legendary GAP Band. |
