Queensland Premier Dismisses Call for Anti-Gambling Campaign

AUSTRALIA – As reported by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation: "Acting Queensland Premier Terry Mackenroth says he does not believe the state needs a large-scale anti-gambling campaign as the problem is not as major as some people claim.

"Mr Mackenroth has defended the Government's use of revenue from gambling after criticism from welfare groups.

"He says adequate anti-gambling programs are already in place…"
