Push for Jueteng-Free Region Starts

BAGUIO CITY, Philippines – As reported by the Manila Times: "The chief of the Police Regional Office in the Cordillera Administrative Region (Procar) said on Saturday that the region has been jueteng-free since December 16 last year.

"Chief Supt. Rowland Albano, Procar director, reported that the all-out war against all forms of illegal gambling, particularly jueteng, was intensified after Philippine National Police officials launched the 'one-strike policy' for the illegal numbers game…"
