Puerto Rico Sheraton casino to close4 August 2015PUERTO RICO -- Following an earlier casino closure this month, the Sheraton Old Juan Hotel & Casino is also scheduled for closure, according to a Caribbean Business report. The Condado Plaza Hilton has already closed its doors with the loss of 144 jobs, the report said. Located in the capital in a prime location for visiting cruise ships, the casino is understood to be closing because of declining revenue and because the government intend to launch a video lottery network across the island, Caribbean Business reported. |
