Proposed Casino Deal Could Benefit New Jersey Tracks

NEW JERSEY – As reported by the Thoroughbred Times: "New Jersey legislators and executives with the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority met on Friday to discuss a potential deal that could divert up to $100-million in Atlantic City casino revenue to horse racing purses over the next three years.

"…In exchange, the casinos likely would put off installing video lottery terminals at the two tracks for at least several more years…"
