Progressive Gaming Submits Product for Approval6 September 2006LAS VEGAS, Nevada -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Progressive Gaming International Corporation (NASDAQ: PGIC), a leading provider of diversified products and services used in the gaming industry worldwide, announced today that it has submitted its CasinoLink® Jackpot Station ("CJS"), a Local and Wide Area Progressive/Mystery System, to the Nevada Gaming Control Board's Technology Division for regulatory approval. The submission was provided on August 31, 2006. The Company expects to proceed to live field trial before year end at Boyd Gaming's Sam's Town Hotel, Gambling Hall and Bowling Center, Joker's Wild Casino and the Eldorado Casino, as previously announced. Chief Executive Officer Russ McMeekin stated "this represents the last major jurisdiction for regulatory approval for our CJS and another major accomplishment by our engineering team this year. We went live with over 225 games in the last several weeks in approved jurisdictions outside Nevada. One of the locations encompassed over 200 games and has been successfully operating for over 2 weeks. We believe we are on track to install over 3000 CJS controlled games in approved jurisdictions by the end of the fiscal year 2006. McMeekin continued: "We also continue to enhance the functionality of our CJS product. We expect to receive approval for CJS for multi-site functionality in New Jersey later this month. Single-site CJS was approved in New Jersey in June 2006. We believe multi-site functionality will enable larger scale installations and will be critical for large corporate operations in this key jurisdiction." |
