Pro casino group part of history4 June 2007PENNSYLVANIA -- As reported by the Evening Sun: "Pro Casino Adams County offered a piece of history to the Adams County Historical Society this week when they donated memorabilia from the proposed casino clash that the historical society's executive director called a 'watershed' in the county. "The will-be artifacts include a pro-casino T-shirt, the pin that group spokesman Jeff Klein wore throughout the campaign, and a pair of yard-signs, including one that casino-supporters and Millennium Gaming Chief Executive Officer Bill Wortman signed. "Wortman planned to be the gaming partner at the proposed Crossroads Gaming Resort and Spa at Routes 30 and 15 in Straban Township, and Klein said he got Wortman's signature during a trip to Las Vegas..." |
