Prince George Casino Ready for Opening

PRINCE GEORGE, British Columbia – As reported by the Prince George Free Press: "Craig Briere talked a lot about Las Vegas last Wednesday as he led a tour through the new Treasure Cove Casino, set to open the next morning.

"The vice-president of the casino made it clear the new casino - replacing the Casino Hollywood operation in the Ramada Hotel downtown - is up to the standards of the casinos in the gambling mecca.

"The casino's 350 slot machines, in a wide variety of games, for instance, 'is comparable to what we see in Las Vegas,' he said.

"But while he points to Vegas quality - a Mediterranean theme, complete with faux balconies, huge seaside murals, a show lounge, and about 30,000 square feet -Briere hasn't forgotten where he is: on the corner of highways 16 and 97 in Prince George, prime real estate for Treasure Cove.

"'We're branding the casino as a northern escape,' he said.

"…The complex will celebrate its grand opening from Nov. 19 to 28."
