Presque Isle Downs and Casino reopens on Friday23 June 2020Presque Isle Downs & Casino in Erie, PA announced on Monday that it will reopen on Friday, 26 June: "It's Official! We will re-open this Friday, June 26 at 12pm. We have certainly missed all of you and our team is excited to see you back at Presque Isle Downs & Casino for a safe (but FUN!!) gaming experience. Mark your calendars! And remember - STAY SIX FEET APART." Operational hours will resume as normal 24/7 and all guests and employees are required to wear a mask or facial covering at all times. Guests may only temporarily remove their mask when eating, drinking, or smoking (in designated smoking areas), and are "strongly encouraged" to wash their hands immediately after. All guests and employees will have their temperatures taken before entering the building. Only 50% of slot machines and table games will be available. As for live racing, the website says: "We are planning to open the backside on July 8th. Racing operations will resume spectatorless on July 27 through October 22, 2020 with a 4:45pm Post Time. Race days will be slated for Monday through Wednesday with Thursdays being added at a later date which has yet to be determined." |
