Presque Isle Downs & Casino fined by Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board

7 March 2016

(PRESS RELEASE) -- The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board has approved a fine of $10,000 against Presque Isle Downs, Inc., operator of Presque Isle Downs & Casino in Erie County.

The fine was the result of the approval of a consent agreement between the PGCB's Office of Enforcement Counsel and Presque Isle Downs, Inc., which permitted a vacant room to be utilized as a table games storage room without it being properly secured. This resulted in numerous occasions when personnel were able to enter the room without a key.

The next meeting of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board is scheduled for 10 a.m., Wednesday, March 30 in the PGCB's Public Hearing Room located on the second floor of Strawberry Square in Harrisburg.
