President Casino closes for good25 June 2010ST LOUIS, Missouri -- Pinnacle Entertainment has closed the President Casino amid rising floodwaters, The St Louis Post-Dispatch reported. The President Casino lasted 16 years, but the rising water meant there couldn't be a send off for it, the report said. The President did well initially during those years, but could not stave off competition from larger riverboats and land casinos, the St Louis Post-Dispatch reported. The state plans to repossess The President Casino's gambling license, the report said. |
