Prairie Meadows shed fire causes damage23 February 2011ALTOONA, Iowa -- A million dollars worth of damage was caused by a fire last week at Prairie Meadows Racetrack and Casino, the Des Moines Register reported. The fire broke out in a shed early last Thursday morning, the report said. The cause of the fire is still being established, but security had checked the shed two hours before the fire broke out at 3am, according to the Des Moines Register report. |
