Potawatomi Bingo Casino guest wins $100,000

15 March 2013

MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- With just one spin of a giant wheel, Leona Givhan of Milwaukee won $100,000 in the Nest of Life Bingo Hall at Potawatomi Bingo Casino. Leona earned a chance to win up to $1 million when she won the February 28 All Star bingo game by completing her bingo card in less than 48 numbers.

The All Star game is played during the Bingo Hall’s evening sessions at the Casino. Numbers are configured at each point of five five-pointed stars. The object of the game is to cover the points on all five of the stars in 48 numbers or less. If that occurs, the lucky winner earns a chance to come back to the Casino and spin a giant wheel that has monetary prizes ranging from $100,000 to $1 million.

“This event happens very rarely at the Casino, so we’re always excited when someone wins the chance to spin the wheel,” said Melanie Martin, bingo director at Potawatomi Bingo Casino. “It was truly an exciting moment to witness and Leona was thrilled.”

The last time a Potawatomi Bingo Casino guest had an opportunity to spin the wheel was in 2009.

The Nest of Life Bingo Hall is located on the second floor of the Casino and seats more than 1,300 players. The hall provides large-screen monitors and a non-smoking section. For more information, please visit paysbig.com/bingo.
