27 October 2005

BILOXI, Mississippi – (PRESS RELEASE) -- Isle of Capri Casinos, Inc. (Nasdaq: ISLE) announced that the Pompano Park Harness Track will remain closed until repairs are completed following Hurricane Wilma.

The company is in the process of estimating the extent of damage to Pompano Park, however, the barns and clubhouse/grandstand structures have been heavily damaged. Isle of Capri has business interruption and property insurance covering the company's operations and assets.

The property was closed Monday, October 24 as Hurricane Wilma approached South Florida. Timothy M. Hinkley, president and chief operating officer, said, "Our first priority is the safety of our customers, team members, horsemen, horsewomen and in this case, the horses. Our Pompano team members secured our property assets quickly and the horses are safely housed."
