Poll: Kentuckians Want Expanded Gambling Vote

KENTUCKY – As reported by the Lexington Herald-Leader: "Horse industry casino advocates plan to release a poll Thursday that they claim shows the majority of Kentuckians want a vote on expanding gambling.

"The poll by the Kentucky Equine Education Project shows that "regardless of how you feel about the issue, Kentuckians want a vote," said Jim Navolio, executive director.

"KEEP wants to get a constitutional amendment on the November ballot that would add casino gambling to the pari-mutuel, lottery and charitable gambling allowed in Kentucky. KEEP is preparing legislation that would allow casinos at eight racetrack-run locations around the state…"
