Police Disclose How Alleged Theft At Casino Was Carried Out

ashantucket, Connecticut – As reported by the Day: ``A former Foxwoods Resort Casino employee charged with stealing $20,000 did so by concealing bundles of cash and removing them from the casino after falsifying a slip to conceal the theft, according to state police.

`` Detectives from the Casino & Licensing Unit charged Deborah Reardon, 33, of 156 Garfield Ave., New London, with first-degree larceny. She turned herself in early Sunday, knowing there was a warrant for her arrest.

``…Reardon was working as a slot booth supervisor on July 11 when the alleged crime took place, according to state police. Her duties included providing slot machine attendants with money from the casino's main coin bank. She is accused of filling out a false money fill slip that day for $20,000 and turning it into the main bank along with a legitimate slip…"
