Poland: Online gambling up despite ban8 November 2010POLAND -- Despite online gambling being confirmed illegal last year, the Polish have increased their spend on it by 20 percent, according to the Warsaw Business Journal. They also spent 50 percent more gambling online than in casinos and the bookies combined, the report said. The government intends to change the law so people can be prosecuted for using online gambling sites, originally it had intended to block access to them within the country, the Warsaw Business Journal said.
