Poland: Gambling scandal commission delayed27 January 2010POLAND -- Interrogation in Polish gambling scandal investigation has been delayed, Polskie Radio reported. The former sports minister (ruling Civic Platform party) whose been investigated for his involvement insisted he had a sore throat and could not speak for long, according to Polskie Radio. Miroslaw Drzewiecki did not offer a doctors note, but the head of the committee accepted his explanation and postponed the investigation until next week, the Polskie Radio report said. |
