PokerTek completes PokerPro installation at Mohegan Sun

13 November 2007

MATTHEWS, North Carolina -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- PokerTek, Inc. (NASDAQ: PTEK), the industry pioneer and worldwide leader in automated poker tables and related software, is pleased to announce that one of the world's largest and most profitable casinos, Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, CT, recently installed twelve PokerPro tables.

"Adding PokerPro to our overall product offering is an exciting milestone for Mohegan Sun, and we're pleased to introduce it to our customers," said Rocco Santoro, Vice President of Table Games for Mohegan Sun. "The quality of the product and the flexibility of the game offerings are a perfect fit. PokerPro allows us to bring new technology to the poker community."

Mohegan Sun, which currently has over 300,000 square feet of gaming space, houses over 300 table games with over 20 different varieties, and nearly 6,200 slot machines. And now the Northeast's premier entertainment destination has added eight PokerPro ten-seat tables, and four Heads-Up tables, to that list.

"Mohegan Sun is an amazing property and we're proud they've selected PokerPro to help them relaunch their poker business," said Chris Halligan, Chief Executive Officer of PokerTek. "Working with Mohegan Sun's team reaffirms for us the importance of working with committed operators whose teams are enthusiastic about our products. They are really a great partner."

This latest installation at Mohegan Sun marks the 7th 100% PokerPro installation for PokerTek. Other completely automated PokerPro rooms include Galaxy Starworld in Macau, Four Winds Casino in New Buffalo, Michigan, Southland Gaming and Racing in West Memphis, Arkansas, Folsom Lake Bowl in Folsom, California, Black Oak Casino in Tuolumne, California and Resorts Casino in Tunica, Mississippi.

"Increasingly, operators are coming to understand the economic leverage that comes with a 100% PokerPro room," said Robert Perry, PokerTek's Vice President of Sales. "Just one year ago, there were no 100% automated rooms in the world and now there are seven and that number is growing. Having Mohegan Sun as a customer is fantastic."
