The 70-event festival takes place from September 6-27 and includes a $51,000 Super High Roller (Sep 20) – the biggest buy-in online poker tournament ever – and a $5,200 Main Event (Sep 27), along with a huge variety of different games and formats at a range of buy-in levels across 68 other events. Juanda topped a record-breaking field of 1,694 to take home €1,022,593 from the €8,215,900 prize pool. The win takes Juanda’s live tournament earnings to more than $17 million. The player, from Argentina, came third in the Sunday Million in 2010 to win $120,000, but went two places better this time by topping a field of 5,430 to claim the lion’s share of a $1,086,000 prize pool. The five-day event will be held at the Enjoy Conrad Resort & Casino in Punta del Este from September 18-22.
