PokerStars releases NAPT Los Angeles schedule8 September 2010(PRESS RELEASE) -- The PokerStars.net North American Poker Tour (NAPT) today announced the final schedule for its Season 1 stop in Los Angeles. The 14-day NAPT Los Angeles poker festival will be held at the world-famous Bicycle Casino from Monday November 8, 2010 through Sunday November 21, 2010. NAPT Los Angeles will offer 21 different events, with buy-ins ranging from $335 to $5,000. In addition to the $5,000 no-limit hold'em Main Event (November 12-17, 2010), the festival will feature: two heads-up no-limit hold'em events with buy-ins of $1,000 and $5,000; several mixed-game events, including a $5,000 H.O.R.S.E. event; a $545 re-entry event with a guaranteed prize pool of $200,000; multiple bounty events; and a ladies event. "This is truly a festival with something for everyone," said Team PokerStars Pro (USA) Jason Mercier. Mercier is expected to be on hand for several events throughout the duration of the festival, along with several other Team PokerStars Pros. Live satellite tournaments will be offered throughout the duration of the festival at the Bicycle Casino. Players will be able to register online for any of the festival's events at http://www.thebike.com. Kelley O'Hara, the Bicycle Casino's Director of Marketing states, "We're very excited to be hosting the West Coast leg of the tour. NAPT has already impressed players, providing a first class poker experience that is creating quite the buzz." Tournament Director, Mo Fathipour agrees. "The new multi-tiered schedule will keep players engaged with a variety of tournament choices. NAPT is really tapped into what players want".
