Number of chips Team PokerStars Pro Liv Boeree has in the EPT Barcelona €25k High Roller, which will play down to a winner today. The single-re-entry event stopped play at 5 a.m. Wednesday with three players left. Boeree, who won EPT6 Sanremo for €1,250,000, is currently second in chips and up against EPT Prague winner Martin Finger, the current chip leader on 7,640,000 and EPT London champ Mark Teltscher with 3,700,000. All three are guaranteed at least €391,000, with €865,900 going to the winner.

First prize picked up by Mario Lopez from Argentina after he won the record-breaking €1,100 Estrellas Barcelona Main Event on Monday. The newly-crowned champion won his seat in a €100 Hyper Turbo satellite on PokerStars. Lopez, who also won LAPT Vina del Mar last year, bested a giant field of 3,292 players -- making it the biggest ever PokerStars live freeze-out tournament.

Well-known poker personality Lynn Gilmartin from Melbourne, Australia, won the event, taking home €5,890 in prize money after striking a heads-up deal.

The 20-year-old from Poland, who made 15 final tables last season and won six events (including four at EPT Malta) triumphed in both the Platinum and Gold tiers for Player of the Year. He has already made a strong start in Season 12, finishing second to Sylvain Loosli in the €50k Super High Roller for €841,500.
