PokerStars makes third Spin & Go millionaire in a week26 October 2015(PRESS RELEASE) -- The third Spin & Go millionaire of the week has been made, and eighth of all time, with English player ‘prophethicks’ winning $1,000,000 after just seven minutes of poker play in a $5 tournament on PokerStars.com, an Amaya Inc. brand. The $5 buy-in Spin & Go tournament (Tournament # 1,358,762,929) started at 10.58 a.m. (PokerStars Server Time) on 25 October (2.58 p.m. GMT, 3.58 p.m. CET), and concluded at 11.05 a.m., creating a million reasons to celebrate a Sunday afternoon for ‘prophethicks’. The runner up was ‘BARCA1CRIS’ from Romania, who won $100,000. The third-place player was ‘snagon-nl’ from Holland, who also won $100,000. The tournament was over in 48 hands of poker, when ‘prophethicks’ moved all-in with [As 6h] on a flop of [Jd 5h Ad], and was called by ‘BARCA1CRIS’ who held [Kd Jc]. The pair of Aces held-up, making ‘prophethicks’ the third Spin & Go Millionaire in a week. The newly-minted millionaire’s User ID and PokerStars player image both pay homage to Bill Hicks, the American comedian and musician.
