Poker thief arrested in Connecticut

MOHEGAN, Connecticut -- As reported by the Norwich Bulletin: "A Westport man was arraigned in Norwich Superior Court Monday after police said he swiped several thousand dollars in poker chips from a table at Mohegan Sun.

"State police said Charles H. Vosgueritchian, 29, of 47 West Paris Road in Westport, entered the casino at 6 a.m. Sunday, sat at a gaming table, grabbed some chips and ran to his car.

"Vosgueritchian was arrested by state police from Troop G in Bridgeport at a rest area in Fairfield and charged with fourth-degree larceny. Police said he had two $1,000 poker chips at the time of his arrest. Held on $5,000 bond, he is scheduled for arraignment today in Norwich Superior Court... "
