Poker star Phil Hellmuth comes to Rivers Casino6 October 2017(PRESS RELEASE) -- Rivers Casino presents an all-star weekend of poker and blackjack tournaments that poker fans and enthusiasts can enjoy watching on Friday, 6 October and Saturday, 7 October. "Poker Night in America" returns to Pittsburgh to host and record the second King of the Hill tournament and an invitation-only blackjack tournament featuring some of poker's top competitors. Both tournaments are open to the public to watch. Phil "Poker Brat" Hellmuth defends his title, 6 and 7 October Poker great Phil Hellmuth — 14-time World Series of Poker Champion and winner of "Poker Night's" first King of the Hill tournament — will compete in the King of the Hill II event, which starts on Friday, 6 October. Hellmuth will also sign copies of his new autobiography, "Poker Brat," on Friday from 6-7 p.m., which guests can win by sitting at a selected table during hot seat drawings on Thursday, 5 October from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. He will also compete in a VIP invitation-only blackjack tournament and Saturday, 7 October. King of the Hill II, 6 and 7 October "Poker Night in America" presents the second King of the Hill competition, in which Phil Hellmuth will defend his title against three new challengers at Rivers Casino. King of the Hill II will be hosted by YouTube star and poker pro Doug Polk. Well-known poker pros Olivier Busquet, Shaun Deeb and Parker Talbot will each put up $50,000, as will Hellmuth, in a winner-takes-all $200,000 tournament that is open to the public to watch. The four poker pros will compete in a heads-up, bracketed competition beginning at 6 p.m. on Friday, 6 October, with the first-round winners playing for the championship on Saturday, 7 October at 6 p.m. The event will be live streamed on Twitch and recorded for broadcasting on CBS Sports Network. For those who can't make it to Rivers Casino to see the live action, they can challenge the pros on the PNIA app. Players can experience the same action they have seen on "Poker Night" and have the opportunity to win prizes, including a VIP grand prize, which guarantees $5,000 to play on an episode of "Poker Night." VIP Blackjack Tournament, 7 October Poker fans and interested guests are invited to Rivers Casino to watch the live action as the poker pros from King of the Hill II and other players compete in an invitation-only blackjack tournament that starts at noon on Saturday, 7 October.
