Pocono Downs Similar to Original Casino

UNCASVILLE, Connecticut – As reported by the Pennsylvania Times-Leader: "The Mohegan Sun casino and resort bills itself as a 'legendary gaming experience.' The décor and service back up the claim, and a visit provides a glimpse of what may be in store – albeit on a smaller scale – as Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs takes shape.

"The Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority has operated the Connecticut complex for nearly 10 years, and the experience shows.

"The permanent casino at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs will be about the size of the Casino of the Earth, the original and one of two gaming areas at the Connecticut facility.

"…The decor of the casino at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs has not been fully determined, but Soper promises it will be similar to the appearance of the Connecticut resort with a mixture of high energy and relaxed tones.
