Playbook Engineering announces Ivo Doroteia as new CEO8 June 2023(PRESS RELEASE) -- Playbook Engineering, a leading global betting platform provider, has appointed Ivo Doroteia as its new CEO. Doroteia has a wealth of experience in the iGaming industry, working as a CEO at Sportingtech and Betomall before being appointed Chief Strategy Officer at iGaming Platform in May 2022. Doroteia’s appointment will bolster Playbook’s reputation as a major global player within the sportsbook and casino sectors. Working with tier-one operators and white labels has made it possible for the platform to be reliable, deliver consistent results and be flexible for years, whilst developing cutting-edge features to be compliant and competitive, in line with providing the best user experience in the industry. Playbook is proven in the UK market, where it has a reputation for supplying tier-one operators with a robust platform, offering highly efficient onboarding and very limited downtime. The next step for the company is to further promote its U.K. offering while also looking to new jurisdictions, such as Latin America – specifically Brazil – and U.S. markets. With a fantastic track record in the U.K., Playbook is establishing itself as the number-one platform provider in regulated markets. In soon-to-be regulated markets such as Brazil, Playbook has been following the regulation process, working with local authorities, gaming labs such as GLI, and operators for the last two years, and is ready to provide its platform once Brazil is regulated, bringing all of its expertise and knowledge to the region. This will position Playbook as a licensed alternative to incumbent platform providers.
