Plainridge casino pleased with first week's revenue

MASSACHUSETTS -- It's only been open a week but revenue has been pleasing at Plainridge Park Casino, the Boston Globe reported.

The casino reported revenue of $6.1 million in revenue for its first week, the report said.

The new casino is hoping to draw gambling dollars back to the state that were being spent in neighboring states casinos, according to the Boston Globe.
