PKR's tournament revamp begins21 June 2012LONDON -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Next-gen poker room PKR.com has announced the launch of a new-look multi-table tournament schedule, which sees the introduction of a range of daily events to suit all levels of player from a number of time zones across the globe. The new schedule includes an improved offering for micro stakes and low stakes players, along with a dedicated daily tournament series for players from Australian and Canadian time zones. In response to feedback from regular tournament participants, PKR has moved from 10-seater to 9-seater tables to improve the game experience, while standardizing the buy-ins across both MTTs and Sit & Gos to facilitate game choice and bankroll management. The schedule will also feature a daily "Lab" event, with the cardroom tasked to invent new and unusual formats. With the first phase of the new schedule now in place, the 3D site plans to launch themed poker nights, with a number of events on each day conforming to the day’s theme – team poker and bounties being just two examples. PKR Poker Room Manager Neil Wright commented, “After consultation with players, we’ve given the MTT offering an exciting makeover, aiming for our players to be constantly challenged and entertained by our tournaments. The new schedule is a work in progress and we’re still keen to add even more innovative choices to ensure our tournament schedule is as dynamic as the software itself.”
