Pittsburg commission recommends casino proposal28 January 2015PITTSBURG, Kansas -- A $62 million Pittsburg, Kansas casino has been recommended by the City Commission, the Joplin Globe reported. Now the state will select one of three potential casino projects, the report explained. If Pittsburg project is selected it would see 300 jobs created and gaming tax revenue generated for two counties in addition to Pittsburg city, according to the Joplin Globe report. |
