Pinnacle seeks hearing on plan to close President Casino

St. Louis, Missouri -- Missouri gaming regulators may plan to close the President Casino, but Pinnacle Entertainment have filed a request to dispute this plan, the St Louis Business-Journal reported.

Pinnacle's plan included the desire to keep its gaming license and repair the President's Admiral riverboat, the Business-Journal report said.

Last month the Missouri Gaming Commission voted instead to take first step to revoke the license, which if they succeed will mean President will shut down by July 1, 2010, according to the Business-Journal

President Casino has been challenged by repeat flooding and competition from nearby casino, the report noted.
