Pinnacle Reaches Construction Milestone for L'Auberge du Lac2 November 2004LAS VEGAS – (PRESS RELEASE) -- Pinnacle Entertainment, Inc. (NYSE: PNK) announced yesterday the "topping out" of L'Auberge du Lac, the Company's $365 million casino resort under construction in Lake Charles, Louisiana. The event marks the completion of the hotel tower's steel shell and achievement of its maximum height. "We are excited to reach this construction milestone as we continue our progress toward an on-schedule and on-budget opening in Spring 2005," said Daniel R. Lee, Chairman and CEO of Pinnacle Entertainment. Located in Lake Charles, Louisiana, L'Auberge du Lac will include approximately 745 rooms, a championship golf course, and a single-level dockside casino surrounded on three sides by the hotel and other amenities. Pinnacle Entertainment owns and operates casinos in Nevada, Mississippi, Louisiana, Indiana and Argentina, and receives lease income from two card club casinos, both in the Los Angeles metropolitan area. The Company is currently building a major casino resort in Lake Charles, Louisiana and has been selected for two casino development projects in the St. Louis, Missouri area. Each of these development projects is dependent upon final approval by the Louisiana Gaming Control Board and the Missouri Gaming Commission, respectively. |
