Photographer injured in freak accident at Cheltenham13 March 2015CHELTENHAM, England -- A freak accident earlier this week at the Cheltenham Festival saw a photographer injured by a racehorse, The Guardian reported. Irish photographer Patrick McCann sustained two broken bones in his leg when a jockey veered left jumping an obstacle then hitting the rail which subsequently resulted in the photographer being struck by the horse's hooves, the report explained. A review will examine whether changes are required to the area photographers can access and stand, The Guardian said. |
