Philadelphia Park Owner Meets with Board

PENNSYLVANIA – As reported by the Bucks County Courier Times: "Think Borgata. Think Bellagio.

"That's what Philadelphia Park owner Robert Green told the Bensalem Gambling Advisory Board during a private meeting in May.

"On Wednesday, board members met publicly to discuss the slots casino construction plans and their meeting with Green.

"Construction of the casino may be held up now by a court battle, but it's coming and it's going to be big, Green told the board.

"Construction of a slots venue and parking garage will begin as soon as the Pennsylvania Supreme Court eliminates legal challenges to the state gaming law, Green said. The slots venue itself will probably employ about 800 people with a theater and resort to follow in later construction phases, Green said…"
