Philadelphia Casino Proposal Revealed

PENNSYLVANIA – As reported by the Patriot News: "Three midstate men are partners in a venture to build a $300 million casino in the suburbs of Philadelphia.

"The midstaters -- Derry Twp. Supervisor Thomas Brogan, businessman Silvan B. Lutkewitte III and Harrisburg attorney David Sweet -- are partners in Boyd Gaming Corp.'s plan to build a slots parlor in Limerick Twp., Montgomery County.

"Rob Stillwell, a spokesman for Boyd, said the partners reached agreement with Nevada-based Boyd Gaming Corp. last year to pursue opportunities in Pennsylvania. The partners also include Patrick Rooney, an heir to the famed Rooney family in Pittsburgh, which owns the Pittsburgh Steelers…"
