Phil Hellmuth sweeps Daniel Negreanu

25 June 2021

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Securing a third consecutive “marathon” win against Daniel Negreanu, Phil Hellmuth has defended his title as one of the greatest poker players of all time. After drinking a Breinfuel an hour before this and the previous two marathon matches, Hellmuth successfully won the $400,000 heads-up showdown last night, earning the poker player his second High Stakes Duel threepeat.

Hellmuth’s third and final win against Negreanu earned him a total of $350,000 in winnings, with the stakes doubling at every match. Benefiting, according to Phil, from 10 hours of level energy each time he drinks Breinfuel, he successfully outdueled Negreanu in each of the three epic matches, each lasting well over four hours. In each duel it appeared Phil seemed fresher, sharper, and able to bluff or strategically bet big hands at the end of each match, allowing him to close out all three tightly contested matches.

Negreanu held the lead for the first two hours of last night’s match, but Hellmuth pulled ahead in the latter part of the five-and-a-half-hour marathon contest demonstrating for the third consecutive time his ability to maintain sharp mental focus for many hours on end.

“A lot of people have doubted me, but my threepeat win against Negreanu speaks for itself. Time and again, I’ve proven my skills and ability to sustain mental endurance for some of the longest running poker matches. I’ve had a Breinfuel before every match to support this and provide the level of mental focus I need,” said Hellmuth.

Hellmuth won all three matches against Negreanu as the underdog. With his recent wins against Antonio Esfandiari, the series against Negreanu marks his sixth straight High Stakes Duel match victory.

Hellmuth is a 15-time World Series Poker (WSOP) champion, regarded by many as the best poker player in the world. He has earned more than $24 million in career tournament earnings.

Experiencing Breinfuel’s benefits firsthand, Hellmuth joined as Advisor and Stakeholder this year to share the brand’s benefits with his following. Hellmuth also drinks Breinfuel during training and before every High Stakes match. He has said that he plans to drink Breinfuel before every day of the World Series of Poker this fall. Breinfuel is designed to support mental athletes like Hellmuth with its targeted formulation that bridges the gap between mental focus and physical performance.
