Pfizer settles gambling addiction lawsuits8 May 2015AUSTRALIA -- Parkinson patients who were insufficiently warned about the side effects of drugs to treat their disease symptoms have reached a settlement in a class-action lawsuit against Pfizer, Fierce Pharma is reporting. Pfizer has agreed to settle with the 172 individuals who took Cabaser and Dostinex between 1996 and 2010 and experienced the damaging side effects of gambling, sex and shopping addictions, the report said. Pfizer had been previously sued by a New York male who spent $3 million gambling, Fierce Pharma cited in its report. |
