Peppermill breaks ground for new parking lot

RENO, Nevada -- As reported by the Reno Gazette-Journal: "The Peppermill Resort Casino has broken ground on a new parking plaza that should make it easier for employees to get to work, executives said.

"Excavation for the $9 million, three story parking plaza began about a month ago, with building completion expected by mid-September.

"Currently, Peppermill employees must park almost a mile from the resort near the old Park Lane Mall and take a shuttle to the resort. The parking plaza will be a lot behind the resort at the intersection of Lymbery Street and Brinkby Avenue.

"...Although for employees, it also will handle overflow parking during special events..."
