Pennsylvania slot machine revenue down for September7 October 2014HARRISBURG, Pennsylvania -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board posted on its website today the monthly report for total revenue generated from the play of slot machines at casinos during September. According to the report, September gross revenue from slot machines at the 12 operating casinos was $180,311,642 or 3.9% lower when compared to the $187,803,113 in gross revenue generated in September 2013. Tax revenue in September of this year was $96,417,980. Gross revenue for each of the casinos operating in September 2014 is as follows, with the percentage change reflected for those casinos that were operating in September of both years. The average number of operating slot machines throughout Pennsylvania, at the 12 casinos, was 26,400 in September 2014 compared to 26,624 at the casinos in September 2013. |
