Pennsylvania Opposition Group Continues Fight

PENNSYLVANIA – As reported by the Pennsylvania Evening Sun: "As long as it takes.

"That's how long a citizens' group plans to oppose a slots casino in Adams County.

"The group that dubbed itself CasiNO is now calling itself 'No Casino Gettysburg' and will continue to push a petition drive and sell buttons and T-shirts denouncing the slots proposal.

"And it will do so until the investors drop their plan, said Susan Star Paddock, chairwoman of the now-organized group.

"…The licensing process could take more than a year to establish.

"But Paddock has no concern about her group fizzling out before the slots license comes up for consideration…"
