Pennsylvania Lottery Awards Two More Million Dollar Prizes

MIDDLETOWN, Pennsylvania -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- The Pennsylvania Lottery has validated two more top-prize tickets from its first-ever New Year's Eve Millionaire Raffle game.

Rita Seaman of Pittsburgh and Joseph Muglie of Sewell, NJ, each won $1 million in the drawing. A third top-prize ticket was claimed last week by a Blair County woman. The fourth and final $1 million ticket has not yet been validated.

Seaman purchased her winning ticket at Foodland in Turtle Creek, Allegheny County. Muglie purchased his ticket at V & V Hardware in Philadelphia. Each store will receive a $5,000 bonus from the Pennsylvania Lottery for selling the winning tickets.

The selection of four $1 million top-prize raffle tickets and five $100,000 second-prize raffle tickets, which came from a pool of 500,000 tickets that were sold between Nov. 22 until they sold out on Dec. 5, was televised live on the Lottery's Dec. 31 drawing show. Five hundred $1,000 winning raffle tickets also were selected.

A complete list of all 509 winning raffle tickets is available at Lottery retailers, as well as on the Lottery's web site. The numbers are listed by prize category in ascending order. Players may also use a "search" function to enter their eight-digit Raffle ticket number to see if they have a winning ticket.

The $1 million prizes must be claimed by presenting a winning ticket at Pennsylvania Lottery headquarters in Middletown, or at any of the Lottery's seven area offices located throughout the commonwealth. The five $100,000 prizes can be claimed at any of the Lottery's seven area offices or at any licensed Pennsylvania Lottery retail location.

Claims may be filed Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. at Pennsylvania Lottery headquarters, and Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. at Lottery area offices.

Holders of Millionaire Raffle tickets worth $1,000 can claim their winnings at any Lottery retail location.
