Pennsylvania House to debate gambling expansion

HARRISBURG, Pennsylvania -- State House Democrats are expected to have a closed-door caucus today to debate wheter to expand a 2004 slots law, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

The 2004 law says that resort hotel casinos are permitted 500 slot machines. Nemacolin Woodlands wants to expand the law to allow at least 25 table games at these resorts.

A vote on the bill could come as early as Wednesday, according to the Post-Gazette.
