Pennsylvania Gambling Vote Delayed

PENNSYLVANIA – As reported by the KYW 1060: "It now appears there will be no vote this week on expanded gambling in Pennsylvania.

"Supporters of legislation that would legalize slot machines in order to finance property and wage tax relief in Pennsylvania had hoped for a vote in at least one chamber, the senate, this week.

"…But sources say the major problem now is that the bill that would distribute the proceeds around the state is not ready. Some pro-gambling lawmakers want to vote on a gambling bill and a tax relief funding formula at the same time…"
