Pennsylvania Gambling Official Avoids Charges25 July 2006PENNSYLVANIA – As reported by the Pittsburgh, Tribune-Review: "Pennsylvania's top gambling regulator will not be charged with a crime despite being accused by Louisiana officials with falsifying records and collecting pay for hours she didn't work at a previous job there. "Louisiana investigators likely will seek repayment for the hours they claim Anne L. Neeb billed but didn't work as executive director of Louisiana's gambling control board before coming to Pennsylvania, said Sgt. Cathy Flinchum, Louisiana State Police spokeswoman. "Neeb was hired last year as executive director of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board. "…A November report by Louisiana State Inspector General Sharon B. Robinson alleged Neeb missed 208.5 hours of work that she was paid for. Neeb later submitted leave adjustments for 152 hours of the missed time…" |
