Pennsylvania casino ending summer on high note30 August 2010WILKES-BARRE, Pennsylvania -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- September may signal that summer's end is near, but at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs, they're making the most of what's left with some great promotions exclusively for Player's Club members. Back by popular demand is the exciting Swipe N' Win taking place every Wednesday and Thursday throughout September in which every swipe is a winner! Player's Club members can simply swipe their card once every week in September from 6:00am through 2:00am the following morning. Prizes will include cash up to $10,000, Free Slot Play ranging from $5.00 to $1,000, 22" LCD HD televisions, Mini Notebook Computers, Digital Camcorders & Cameras as well as Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs gift certificates. Player's Club members will also have their chance to win a 2010 Nissan Altima SL and a Nissan 370Z Roadster with the Win Some Wheels promotion. Guests have two chances to win, September 11th and 25th, but can earn entries all month long. For every point earned on slot play, guests will receive ten entries. Bonus entries can be earned each Sunday and Tuesday, acquiring 30 entries for every point earned. Winners will be drawn on Saturday, September 11th and Saturday, September 25th at 6:00pm. Entries will be activated at 1:30pm and each additional Free Slot Play drawing will take place between 1:30pm and 5:30pm and will award each winner $250.00. Each player is eligible to win only one hourly drawing, but will still be eligible to win the car drawing. But that's not all! Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs is also home to Free Play Frenzy every Monday in September. Here, players can win their share of Free Slot Play to use at their favorite slot machines. Hourly drawings will take place from noon to 8:00pm. Five winners per hour will receive $500.00 in Free Slot Play each. A million dollar grand prize could be awarded to one lucky winner if they successfully pick 204 or more correct games out of 245 games this season. No point spreads or handicaps are involved; just pick the correct teams each week. First place prizes tally $1,000 in Free Slot Play and go all the way down to 10th place which is $100.00 in Free Slot Play.
