Pearl River Resort to offer new sports betting options31 January 2019(PRESS RELEASE) -- Owned and operated by the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians, Pearl River Resort is pleased to announce that the Southeast’s #1 gaming destination will offer two new and exciting ways for guests to place sports bets. Silver Star Hotel & Casino, Golden Moon Hotel & Casino, and Bok Homa Casino will officially launch first-in-state mobile on-premises sports betting on 2 February 2019. The launch of Quick Bet Kiosks will soon follow. Since opening the Sportsbook five months ago, the Resort has paid out over $8 million for winning bets. “This new feature to our Sportsbook will offer more flexibility for our customers and bring in even more players. Since the opening of our Sportsbook, we have seen great excitement among our existing players and we are happy that new players from a younger demographic are now experiencing the many wonderful amenities offered by our Pearl River Resort,” said Tribal Chief and Board Chair Phyliss J. We are dedicated to making the customer experience a winning experience!” New "PRR sports" mobile betting app Pearl River Resort will be the first gaming destination in the state of Mississippi to provide legal mobile betting for sports. Instead of waiting in lines at Sportsbook, guests will be able to place their bets directly from their phones and other mobile devices while on property. In addition to placing all the same types of bets as Sportsbook, guests will be able to participate in in-play betting. This feature allows guests to place various wagers while the sporting events are live in action. To download the PRR Sports app from your mobile phone, go online and select either iPhone or Android phone type. Beginning 2 February, simply visit the Sportsbook or Players Club to register and activate your PRR Sports app account. Quick bet kiosks coming soon Another way guests will be able to avoid long lines is with Quick Bet Kiosks. With these great new additions, guests will be able to conveniently place bets on the gaming floor at Golden Moon, Silver Star and Bok Homa. Like Sportsbook at Timeout Lounge, the self-service quick bet kiosks will offer traditional sports betting in which guests can bet on all professional league sports and major collegiate sporting events. Guests are encouraged to visit the Sportsbook to enjoy the big screens and cash in winning tickets. The Sportsbook at Timeout Lounge is open 24/7 for guests to watch their favorite games. Counter hours of operation for the Sportsbook at Timeout Lounge and Bok Homa are as follows: Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m.; Friday from 10 a.m. - midnight; Saturday from 9 a.m. - midnight; and Sunday from 9 a.m. - 10 p.m. Bettors can visit Player Services at Golden Moon or Silver Star to redeem winning tickets after hours. |
