PDS Gaming Approved for The Gambler Casino in Reno

Last month, PDS Casinos Reno, Inc. purchased the real property of The Gambler casino and leased the property to the previous owner while the Company was awaiting the regulatory approval necessary to allow PDS Casinos Reno, Inc. to operate the casino. PDS will assume operating control of the casino immediately.

The Gambler casino, located in downtown Reno, Nevada, is currently a 7,500 square foot, unrestricted licensed casino with an installed base of approximately 175 gaming devices. Located in the heart of the Reno casino ``strip'', The Gambler caters to both tourists and locals.

``Our strategy is to implement a number of improvements at The Gambler casino, including special promotions for locals, casino employees and tourists,'' stated Johan Finley, Chief Executive Officer of PDS Gaming.

``We will immediately upgrade The Gambler's floor by replacing one third of the slot machines with newer models from our inventory, providing a more appealing mix of slot play for customers. Later this year, we plan to expand the facility's existing gaming operations to include a unique, comfortable gaming environment on the currently underutilized second floor.

”These enhancements should improve the casino's operating results and increase The Gambler's positive contribution to PDS Gaming's earnings and cash flow in 2001 and future years.''
