PBR returns to Pala, October 6-715 June 2012PALA, California -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- All of the excitement and action of the Professional Bull Riders (PBR) will return to the Pala Rodeo Grounds at 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 6-7, at Pala Casino Resort and Spa for a weekend filled with rank bulls, high scores and big wrecks sponsored by Toyota of Escondido. Reserved-seat tickets for the Pala PBR Touring Pro Division, $48, $58 and $10 for children 12 and under, and $28 for general admission are on sale, with no service charge, at the Pala Box Office in the casino, or call 1-877-WIN PALA (1-877-946-7252). Tickets also are available at www.startickets.com, or 1-800-585-3737. The PBR and Pala also have introduced a new two-day ticket package for reserved seats of $73 (save $23), $83 (save $33) and $20 for children 12 and under when purchased in one transaction. A two-day general admission package also will be available for $56. The Pala Touring Pro Division event will again showcase some of the most promising rising stars of the PBR riding alongside fan favorites and veterans, and all competitors will face off against the most famous bucking bulls in the world. The Touring Pro Division offers up-and-coming bull riders the opportunity to compete in PBR-sanctioned events while they earn prize money to qualify for the PBR’s elite Built Ford Tough World Finals, presented by Wrangler. Justin Koon from Grapevine, AR, outpointed 70 riders to win $6,378.40 and the second Pala PBR Touring Pro Division Championship on May 22, 2011. |
