PBL Promises Shareholders Strong Growth

AUSTRALIA – As reported by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation: "Media and gambling company Public Broadcasting Limited (PBL) has promised its shareholders strong financial growth in the year ahead.

"…[Chairman James Packer] says the company's next major expansion will be with UK betting exchange Betfair if it gets a licence in Australia.

"'If it does become licenced in Australia, we will be a 50 per cent shareholder and we believe in that situation the business has significant potential to create value for shareholders, he said."
