Paul Anka at the Peppermill

RENO, Nevada -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Grab a shoulder and settle in for an unforgettable night with the timeless idol Paul Anka at the Peppermill's Tuscany Events Center on Friday, Oct. 10 at 8 p.m.

With more than 50 years in the music industry, Paul Anka is one of the most prolific songwriters in history. He has been named the 21st most successful artist in Billboard's history, and his songs have been recorded by some of the greatest names in the entertainment industry. Anka's classic songs include "Put Your Head on My Shoulder," "Puppy Love," and his number one hits "Diana," "Lonely Boy," and "You're Having My Baby." Anka has recorded more than 120 albums in several languages and has sold close to 15 million albums. To celebrate his 50 th anniversary in music, Anka released the new album "Classic Songs, My Way." The album features Anka performing his renditions of hit songs by Joni Mitchell, Billy Joel, and The Killers. The album also features Anka and Michael Buble joining together for Anka's hit song "You Are My Destiny" as well as a duo with Bon Jovi singing "My Way."

The Peppermill's Tuscany Events Center is 62,000 square feet and is the largest free-span convention center in northern Nevada. The Peppermill has gone to great lengths to ensure the events center offers comfortable seating with great views of the stage.
